Revised Tariff Rule - Free Time and Demurrage in North America

Westwood Shipping Lines is providing advance notice of change to the free time and demurrage tariff rule in North America.

Effective July 1, 2023, Tariff 032, Rule #17, Free Time and Demurrage in North America, Section 3 for Vancouver, BC will be reduced from 7 free days to 5 free days. The free time will commence at 08:00 a.m. on the first business day after container discharges from a vessel.

Vancouver, BC effective 07/01/23:
For cargo discharge or Customs Clearance at ports at Vancouver, BC:
Free Time Allowed:
For Dry Cargo: 7 calendar days 5 calendar days
For Reefer Cargo: 2 calendar days
For Special Equipment: 2 calendar days
