Pacific Northwest Inclement Weather Impacts

Dear Valued Customer:

Inclement weather across the Pacific Northwest is impacting Westwood operations.

Westwood remains in close contact with affected terminals, depots, and rail providers to understand and attempt to mitigate cargo movement and vessel operations.

  • Seattle Terminal closures have delayed vessels and restricted movement of loaded cargoes both to and from the port.
    • T-46 in Seattle has been closed since December 27, 2021 and is scheduled to re-open January 3, 2022.
    • T-30 in Seattle has been closed since December 28, 2021 and is scheduled to re-open January 3, 2022.
  • The above noted terminal closures will cause delays into next ports of calls in the Vancouver, BC area.
  • Equipment release depots are open today with anticipation of early closure for New Year holiday.
  • Railroads are moving under safety of weather guidelines requiring slower speeds and shorter trains. This increases the time for movement of cargo.

We thank you for your understanding and continued business support.
