Puget Sound Terminal Change Update #2

2020-04-17

Customer Notification

Dear Valued Customer,

We previously advised you that Westwood Shipping Lines is moving our container terminal in the Puget Sound to the Port of Seattle’s Terminal 18 and we’d like to give you an update with some additional information.

Our weekly vessel ETA Seattle will remain Wednesday, as it was in Tacoma.

During this transition, Westwood will continue to issue bills of lading for place of discharge at Tacoma for containers and Everett for project cargo for the next two to three voyages. Customer AMS and ISF should be filed as Tacoma/Everett as well.

Westwood will update Tacoma manifests with US Customs amending the port of discharge from Tacoma to Seattle. Once manifests have been updated, customers will need to amend any AMS and ISF filing from Tacoma to Seattle.

Please note that our IPI rail routings and rail transit times will not change. Westwood will endeavor to start moving cargo to the rail the day after vessel discharge.

For our door deliveries in the Tacoma, Seattle, and Portland area, we will continue to offer the same service with the same drayage companies. Our customer service team will work with customers to start deliveries as early as the day after vessel discharge.

We appreciate your continued support.

Sincerely,
Westwood Shipping Lines, Inc.
