Refrigerated Containers

New Service Offering

April 22, 2014

Dear Valued Westwood Customers,

Westwood Shipping Lines (WSL) is proud to announce a new service offering in our service portfolio. WSL will add additional ports of call in the Far East for its refrigerated container service from Seattle and Vancouver B.C.

Westwood Shipping Lines starting with the April 16th Westwood Pacific- Voyage 24W, will add refrigerated port calls in Sendai, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Shimizu. We will continue to offer our customers a direct reefer service from the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle CY and Vancouver BC CY to the Tomakomai, Japan and Busan, Korea markets.

We have new 40'HC state of the art refrigerated containers and are excited about these additional port calls. The superior level of customer service that we are known for in the dry container, bulk, and project cargo markets, we will now carry over into the refrigerated cargo market with a more comprehensive port rotation.

For the Tomakomai destination, our direct service with a transit time of 13 days will continue to be an industry-leading service for this market. The new direct reefer service into these additional ports will provide our customers with a hassle-free solution that mitigates a number of the risks associated with the transport of refrigerated cargo.

To learn more about this new service offering and the full scope of WSL services, please contact your local sales representative or WSL Customer Service Group. We invite you to ship your refrigerated cargo with us and put our service to the test.
